Electric Fence and Razor Wire Installation in Utange Mombasa

Hakimi Tech recently completed an electric fence and razor wire installation at a residential property in Utange, Mombasa. The project focused on strengthening the home’s perimeter security while maintaining a practical and professional finish.

Our team installed a Nemtek Wizard 2i Energizer to power the electric fence system. We also used a 25kg roll of 1.6mm high-tensile galvanized electric fence wire to create a strong and reliable electric barrier around the property.

To improve the system’s security response, we installed a siren and strobe light kit, alarm wire, and fence indicator light. These components help alert the occupants when the electric fence detects an intrusion or interference.

We also installed 8 warning signs around the perimeter. The signs clearly indicate the presence of an electric fence and provide an important visual warning to anyone approaching the property.

Razor Wire Installation

To add another layer of physical protection, our technicians installed 10 rolls of Green PVC Coated Razor Wire along the perimeter. The green PVC coating provides a neat appearance while helping the razor wire blend better with the surrounding property.

The combination of electric fencing and razor wire gives the residence two layers of perimeter protection. The electric fence provides an active security barrier, while the razor wire creates an additional physical obstacle for anyone attempting to climb over the wall.

Challenges During the Installation

The installation presented a few challenges for our technicians. One of the main difficulties came from the limited space around the property. The team had very little room to work when installing the undergate cable through the protective pipe.

Our technicians carefully worked within the available space and routed the cable through the pipe without compromising the installation. They took extra care to maintain a clean and secure cable path around the gate area.

The second challenge came from the ongoing construction work at the residence. Construction activities created a significant amount of dust around the perimeter while our team installed the electric fence and razor wire.

Our technicians wore protective masks throughout the dusty installation process. They also worked carefully around the construction area to keep the installation safe and organized.

Final Security Setup

After completing the installation, our team tested the electric fence system, warning signs, fence indicator light, and alarm components. We also checked the razor wire installation to ensure proper positioning along the perimeter.

The completed system now gives the residence a stronger perimeter security solution combining electric fencing, razor wire, visual warnings, and an alarm alert system.
